DOSE OF COLOURS: LIQUID LIPSTICK REVIEW

dose of colours

Hey there! I just want to first point out that I am British and spell “colors” as colours – so no spelling mistake has been occurring here! Dose of colours is basically my new favourite liquid lipstick brand and I am going to tell you why!

I heard about this brand through my obsession with Tammy Hembrow on Instagram. The woman is from another world I swear – everything about her is perfect it makes me want to crawl in my bed and cry from lack of self esteem. In an attempt to somehow get anywhere close to her attractiveness, I thought, what better way than to buy liquid lipstick from the brand she does. Cause that will definitely change things right?!

I ordered them from Glammua.co.uk – specifically because I wanted the shade ‘Sand’. Normally, I really begrudge buying make-up – or any other item for that matter – from abroad because the customs charges just make it unaffordable.

At £18 each, they are quite pricey, but oh my god are they worth it. I love every single shade I bought, which was Sand, Bare With Me and Brick. I wasn’t really buying any shade to keep in line with any trends as such, just what I thought would suit me!

Sand is very nude, but quite different and quirky. It is officially my new favourite liquid lipstick! I like to mix it a little with a slightly warmer nude shade for when I am looking a bit pale so that I don’t just look like I just put foundation on my lips, but I also love it on its own too!

Bare With Me looks slightly more pinky than the picture does on the website, but it is still a lovely shade nonetheless and is perfect for a go-to everyday pink.

Brick is perfect for the autumn and winter season coming up! It is a lovely deep burgundy red, and I find it a comfortable shade to wear day or night.

Although the colours are vibrant and stunning, I do find the lipsticks quite drying after being on all day, and I do need to top up once a day to keep it topped up. I do eat meals between applications though, so I would say that isn’t bad going considering!

Let me know whether you would like to see a video reviewing these and trying them on my lips and I will upload one onto my channel!

Customs chargers are awful! I always avoid buying from oversea’s if I can!
Oooo, I love ALL three of these shades! You picked a lolvey variety there! I think Brick would be my favourite as I love a darker lip! They sound pretty decent value for what they’re worth.
